It's easy to trade to your mule characters. Just run two instances of Dofus at the same time on the same computer. Keep all your mule characters in the same room.

Another tip is to overload your mule characters by nearly maxing how much they can hold. Then drop something very heavy on the ground. Then they can hold higher than the allowable limit. They won't be able to move but who cares about that. They are your new free bank.
